Dr Hal is an exceptional doctor! He actually listens and helps solve problems. He is super professional, caring, and always willing to discuss any questions I have. I drive 45 min to see him because it's worth it to have a provider that I can count on. Very much appreciate his care!

Dr. Hall has simply been the best doctor I have had on a primary care basis. I have an extremely complex and ofter overwhelming case for most doctors. In the past I have had many doctors that simply do not attempt to make me feel heard, try to give advice, or frankly see me as anything but a liability. Dr. Hall on the other hand thinks outside of the box, brings treatments to my attention that no one else has, and makes me feel like he keeps my case at the top of his mind. I originally had a different primary care physician when I met Dr. Hall for an emergent appointment when my other provider was not available due to an unforeseen illness. The kindness of which he spoke to me and how he helped me immediately resonated with me. From that appointment I knew it may be time to try to get into his patient rounds. I did have one more emergent appointment with him, and after that one also went well I called and got switched over to his care. I have never been more thankful than to have another care provider to speak to that I know really has my longterm and short term health in mind.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Derrick Hall. He listens well and pays attention. He looks at me more than the computer screen. He actually looked over my entire medication list and made recommendations that I have been asking for for months.He gave me some sobering information. He explained my blood work and tests thoroughly. Told me that my protein level is low and how to improve it.If he truly heard me, I'm not absolutely sure but I can say that I felt like he actually listened and seemed concerned about my situation.I have not always had that experience with a few Providence doctors. Even though I was/still concerned about my situation, I actually left his presence feeling optimistic about improving my situation.
