Chris began his working life as a tradesman and concrete cutter before coming to the realization that “there were no 40-year-old concrete cutters,” he says. Looking to move on, he enlisted in the Navy, and that move led to his forever career. Serving in the 7th Marine Regiment taught him many of the skills that sparked his interest in becoming a physician assistant.

After completing his service, he enrolled in the University of Washington’s MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program, and today, he brings many years of experience and enthusiasm to his work with patients of all ages.

“Humans are extremely well designed, but occasionally we create conditions that interfere with our performance and require adjustment,” says Chris. “My role is to provide patients with the tools they need to help manage their health.” Often, those tools begin with lifestyle changes, which can help many people resolve health problems with fewer medications, or with none at all. “It feels great to help people make changes that enable them to enjoy their health and to do more of what makes them happy,” he says.

Chris is originally from Santa Cruz, Calif. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, weightlifting, bow hunting, and spending time with his wife.
