About Lauren A. Hojnacki
Lauren Hojnacki, PA-C, emphasizes prevention of disease and helping patients stay healthy in her work as a physician assistant. "I enjoy following my patients' progress and addressing concerns," she says. "Working in a medical home model gives the patient a team support system in a patient-centered setting."
She says her philosophy of care is to create a trusting relationship with her patients and their families so their needs and wants can be expressed. "My most important role is to give insight into patients' concerns and allow them to make informed decisions regarding their health," she says. "Patients should be able to play an active role in their health."
Lauren earned her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and a master of physician assistant studies degree from Concordia University, Wisconsin. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Lauren enjoys exploring Portland, trying new restaurants, spending time outdoors and traveling.
