Since early childhood, becoming a physician was always Dr. Bak’s dream. “Watching Little House on the Prairie as a 5-year-old,” she says, “I wanted to be Doc Baker.” Today, Dr. Bak is the modern-day equivalent, taking great joy in “the relationships built upon trust and respect for one another.”

As a board-certified family physician, Dr. Bak emphasizes preventive and proactive care. Her holistic approach encompasses physical, emotional and mental well-being. “My most important role is to be a trusted advisor, guiding patients to a life of wellness and happiness,” she says. “It’s my goal to help you live a healthy, full and abundant life, unencumbered by the limitations of disease and illness.”

A graduate of the University of California, Riverside, Dr. Bak earned her medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. She completed her family practice internship and residency at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.

Outside of her dream job, she is a self-proclaimed foodie. “A plate of delicious food in front of me,” she says, “with a loved one sitting next to me, makes me feel that all is good with the world.”
