About Daniel J. Sanders
Daniel Sanders, PA-C, was inspired to pursue a career as a physician assistant after seeing his father suffer from a chronic disease that left him disabled. "Witnessing the great care he received from his medical providers made me want to help other people who find themselves in similar difficult circumstances," says Daniel. Daniel believes his most important role as a health care provider is to listen to his patients and understand their needs. "I emphasize honesty with my patients," he says. "I want to help people reach their goals and prevent disease when possible." After earning his bachelor's degree in business administration from Portland State University, Daniel completed his master of physician assistant studies degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Daniel and his wife love living in the Willamette Valley and enjoy camping with their dog. In his free time, Daniel enjoys painting, woodworking and outdoor activities.
