About Risa R. Siegel
Becoming a physician was Dr. Siegel’s lifelong goal. Watching her grandfather deal with the daily tests and injections required for Type 1 diabetes, she says, “I wanted to help find a cure so he wouldn’t have to go through that.” While a cure remains elusive, Dr. Siegel now helps patients of all ages to manage chronic conditions and other health issues.
In her practice, Dr. Siegel complements medical care with integrative practices. She also encourages healthy behaviors such as hydration, movement, nutrition, sleep and social connections to help her patients improve their overall health and wellness. “My most important role is to partner with patients to determine the best approaches for them, and to support their decisions,” she says. “It’s a pleasure getting to know my patients and watching them achieve their health goals.”
Dr. Siegel holds degrees from Columbia University in New York City and from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem, NY. She completed her internship and residency at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wis., and is board certified in family medicine.
A Portland Thorns fan, Dr. Siegel enjoys traveling and visiting the Oregon Coast in her free time.

I had to wait 6 months to see this doctor because so many physicians have left. This was our initial visit, but I was impressed.

This was the first time I was able to see Dr Siegel. It was worth the 4 month wait.

Providence Patient
This was my first experience with Risa as I was establishing care. I feel she listened to me. She was a little behind schedule for the day, but I can see how that is easy to happen when there are other variables like patients.
