About Lynn Vanthom
Lynn VanDeHey-Thomas' philosophy of care as a physician assistant is to create a patient-provider team and encourage patients to take an active role in their health care. "I became a provider because I want to enhance the lives of my patients and help them achieve a healthy lifestyle," she says. "I emphasize good communication, not only between myself and my patients, but also with my colleagues," Lynn says. "I hope this leads to long-lasting patient relationships, while helping them improve or maintain their quality of life."
Lynn received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and her master's degree in physician assistant studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Born and raised in the Portland area, Lynn loves calling the Pacific Northwest home. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cross-stitching, and playing board games with her husband and three children.
