Matthew C. Upshaw, DO

Dr. Upshaw grew up in the Milwaukie/ Oregon City area. After serving in the U.S. Army, as a medic, he earned his Bachelors degree at Portland State University. He then obtained a second Baccalaureate Degree as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist prior to attending Medical School at the University of Osteopathic Medicine & health Sciences in Des Moines Iowa. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Western University Health Sciences. Dr. Upshaw has raised his two children in the Gresham area with his wife Cindy. He enjoys an active lifestyle having run multiple marathons and competed in his first Iron Man Distance Triathlon in 2011. Dr. Upshaw joined the practice in 2001.
