Selin Y. Cronkrite, MPH, PAC

Selin Cronkrite, a physician assistant, has always felt compassion for those around her. In her scope of practice, she focuses on building long-term relationships with her patients, prevention and treatment of chronic illness. Selin believes that it's important to treat each patient as a whole person and put their needs at the center of care.

Selin feels that her most important role as a provider is to be an advocate for her patients. "This means respecting every patient, providing compassionate care and resources, and looking ahead to help my patients gain the skills needed to stay happy and healthy," she says. "I like considering all factors involved in a patient's care and working with the entire health care team to provide quality care."

A board-certified physician assistant, Selin earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Oregon State University. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Health Sciences and Master of Public Health degrees from George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences.

An Oregon native, Selin met her husband at Tigard High School and they live together with their two small dogs. She is half Turkish (and speaks Turkish), likes painting and loves cooking. She also enjoys giving back to the community. Over the last few years, Selin has volunteered to help the elderly continue to live independently, packaged food for the underserved and provided medical care for the uninsured.
