John H. K. Shin, MD

Dr. John Shin is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a comprehensive approach to patient care. He completed medical school at California Northstate University College of Medicine and finished his residency at Kaiser Permanente Orange County, where he received extensive training in both adult and pediatric medicine. His expertise encompasses preventive care and health maintenance, as well as diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic conditions. Dr. Shin is proficient in performing a variety of procedures, including laceration repair, joint injections, cyst and toenail removal, and various dermatologic treatments.

In addition to his broad medical training, Dr. Shin has a particular expertise and special interest in medication-assisted weight management, helping patients achieve and maintain healthy lifestyles through personalized care plans.

Dr. Shin's philosophy of care centers on the belief that there is always something to learn from every patient.
