The provider listened to my concerns and did not interrupt or talk over me - the prescription he gave me improved my illness very quickly and I would be suffering if he had not done that. He listened to what I told him. I have had some PAs or nurses just lecture about the fact that every one has colds or the flu currently - but when one is 72, one knows when it's bacterial and time is of the essence-- and the longer you have to battle an infection the harder it gets to get well again. He gave me a better (strong) prescription that was effective.

This was the first time I had seen Keven Nelson. He was very professional and helpful. He took time to listen and give me answers to my questions. I felt very satisfied by the time I left.

My care has been wonderful I feel that I am backed up and that I am in good hands the it's such an improvement over the last couple of years I didn't always feel there was a backup but I kind of understood the situation I am very grateful for all your support I have one thing that's difficult but I don't know the answer to a solution I see a different person each time I have no complaints about any one of them even when my doctor was able to help me it was hard to get an appointment with her at that time as I said it is not a complete it's sometimes difficult but I still feel very supportive and thank you

Dr Kevin Nelson, PA was great. (my primary is Lawrence Cooper) Kevin took time to listen and discuss my cat scan results from the Sutter ER and offered good info on what all is going on with the acute diverticulitis and beyond for my system. I was honestly so impressed since often In the last few years I have been told "You can only discuss one issue per visit". Or... "You get 15 minutes max" and just being so frustrated with Providence overall as a result. Kevin was a refreshing change from that "we don't really have time for you" patient treatment culture. I will ask for him specifically in the future. He was knowledgable and looked at the whole picture which I truly appreciated. I have been gravitating away from providence because of my dissatisfaction for several years. My cardiologist, dermatologist and ENT are with UCSF and ob/gyn is with Sutter. I think you can look at their models and see a big difference from the service I had been experiencing with your organization. I am only sharing this not to complain, but to provide constructive comments, that you might endeavor to instill change. I know healthcare is tough and will probably only get worse, but since you asked? You need more Kevins! Thank you for listening.

PA Nelson listened carefully to what I said. He answered my questions, explained what he believed to be the cause of my pain, explained potential treatment, and referred me to a specialist. The only negative was that I don't think he truly understood how much pain I was in. That may, in part, be on me.

Kevin was amazing. I brought meds relating to a horrific rash on my stomach. It smelled horrible. He prescribed a cream and it healed in 3 days. He lowered my blood pressure med from [ID] because I presented with a BP of [ID]. I was very weak and fatigued.He advised me keep track of my blood pressure and gave me some paperwork and a new cuff. It is much easier to operate than what I was using.By Monday my blood pressure was in a normal range. I was very satisfied with my appointment.

Kevin Nelson was ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT, examined my ear, said I had an infection because of terrible pain & ordered an antibiotic. I asked him to check if this drug would conflict with my Cancer meds which he immediately checked & said it would be fine, also answering ALL my questions. Very pleased with him

It was my yearly check up. We talked about blood pressure, my surgery in December and questions about experiencing anything new tht needed care.

He showed genuine care and concern for all that I addressed to him. I was given the referral I asked for. Also, I was delighted that he obtained the form from PG&E right int he office. He filled it out and signed the medical portion. I have mailed the completed form to PG&E and look forward to reduced rates on my monthly gas bill due to a medical condition. Thank You!

Kevin is extremely courteous and knowledgeable. I requested him for my wellness visit due to seeing him one time before when Dr. Cooper was not available. Kevin makes me feel comfortable talking to him.

Kevin was great. However, in my last three annual checkups, I have had three different providers. So I worry a bit about continuity.

Dr. Levin is very hard to get an appointment with. This time I was able to get in to see his PA and was very impressed by him.
