Joey Asfahan, MD

Dr. Joey Asfahan is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who has been practicing in Southern California for several years. He completed medical school at University of Aleppo Faculty of Medicine before finishing his residency at PIH Health Whittier Family Medicine Residency Program. During his time in the program he specialized in Palliative care and Hospice, receiving extra training and collaborating with specialists and social workers to ensure optimal patient care. Dr. Asfahan was recognized with "The Above and Beyond the Call of Duty" award for his contributions to the residency clinic. Dr. Asfahan is committed to providing top notch care that revolves around patients of every age. His goal is to make sure patients feel heard and understood emphasizing the importance of helping them understand their health issues to take charge of their well being. Dr. Asfahan values building lasting connections, with his patients and working together to improve their health and wellness journey.
