This was my first visit with Dr. Awad, to establish a new primary care physician (my previous PCP retired). She was thoughtful, thorough, respectful, and kind. I'm so pleased that she will now be my primary care doctor.

When my employer changed insurance and it appeared that Dr Awad and SJHMG would no longer be in network providers, I made the decision to pay out of pocket for minimal reimbursement because I was unwilling to loose access to Dr Awad. I have been very happy with St Joseph and St Jude facilities but might have had to make changes for other services (labs, mammograms, colonoscopy) but I would have sacrificed financially to continue seeing Dr Awad for my primary care.

Dr. Awad always takes as much time as needed to address any and all concerns and questions. She is an amazing doctor!

I have been seeing Dr. Awad for over a decade with a few years of not coming to her due to pregnancy or needing an appointment at a time I couldn't get an appointment with her. I am now scheduling them for summer when I am off work because she truly makes me feel more comfortable than any doctor. She remembers me each year I come see her even if there were a few years in between visits.

Dr. Awad is an excellent physician!I have a very completed case, with many health issues. I have gone in to see her and she has reviewed my chart the day before I went in, with all of my issues, trying to connect the dots. I have a neurological disease, that is progressive, and not even the specialist at Stanford could give a definite diagnosis name, saying it is too rare to even be diagnosed. There is always the question regarding how many of my health issues are neurologically connected, so she works hard to manage my symptoms, as well as spending extra time trying to connect the dots. She always spends a lot of time talking with me, encouraging me and caring for me as a whole person, not just my physical issues. I highly recommend her, even though I run the risk of her getting even busier and it taking longer to get in to see her

Dr. Awad has always demonstrated her care for me as well as her familiarity with my health history and concerns. She knows when to be proactive and when not to overreact. She is engaged and interested in the "whole patient" and the factors that contribute to their health, and she recognizes that no two patients are the same or are defined completely by their bloodwork. She is a fantastic physician. In the past, the appointment system made it very challenging to schedule time with Dr. Awad, but she explained that a new system has been adopted that has improved scheduling for both doctors and patients. Well done!

Dr. Awad has always met my needs for many years and I appreciate having her as my doctor. The wait time is all that needs to improve. Coming to the office seems less of a problem than trying phone or FaceTime appointments. The last appointment finalized on my daughter's phone as we finally got through to the office to tell them we are still waiting and the phone is not ringing. The initial call was the only call that rang on our end. At least one other call from St Joseph's was made on same phone used by the staff member for the first call to ready us for Dr. Awad's call. Because of this we are sure the problem was not on our end. My daughter checked all settings on my phone to be sure my phone was not screening the calls.
