Very caring and very knowledgeable.

I've been seeing Nicholas Hernandez for years, and think very highly of him,(when I had my colonoscopy scheduled with Dr. Lee a few years ago, I was very apprehensive, but when they rolled my gurney in to the O.R. For the procedure, I was very, very, happy to see my doctor, Dr. Hernandez there, welcoming me, I was so relieved, I "almost" can't put it into words.. ..I'll try,; ...Trust me, it meant 'everything' to me to see him there before I went under. It was very comforting, & completely unexpected, and made me feel "very safe"

We're all very busy and the staff make it easy to look for an appointment time and make it as easy as possible to get an appointment. WE did this last over the phone and it worked out well, for both of us. I know the Dr. Is busy but I never feel rushed to "get it over with." I get all my questions answered.

I wish I would have met with Dr. Hernandez, my primary doctor, sooner. I enrolled in Providence in January of the year and finally, I met him. I went through an array of other referrals to doctors in the SJO systems. I believe there was no mention of them in MyChart or services performed by them. I am a little confused with this system. Overall the Doctors have provided excellent care to me, beyond my expectations.

Dr Nicolas Hernandez exemplifies the ideal caring, considerate, compassionate, learned medical professional that all people should have the please, joy and privilege of having as their physician. The staff are also great at all they do!

I had labs ordered, which I had drawn a week before my visit. There wasn't a lipid panel, or a hgb A1c ordered- which was the most important reason for the visit, I'm on medication for Diabetis and lipids. The results help my MD to change meds as needed. He ordered the labs for that day, I went down and had them drawn. Now I have to wait for the results.I see him every 3-4 months to monitor my diabetis and lipids. I look forward to discussing the results with him, and discussing the plan going forward. It was a disappointment to not have those lab results available for my apt. Dr Hernandez is excellent at providing referrals in a timely manner.

The appointment was made to establish care with a new provider. Previous PCP had retired. Dr. Hernandez was very courteous, professional, and able to address my health history and concerns. I would definitely recommend.

I was in a wheelchair and I had to go downstairs for lab work. One of the clerks offered to push me to my destination, which really helped.

Dr. Hernandez has been very proactive, respectful, and compassionate. He was instrumental in helping to identify cancer and provided a great referral for treatment. He is an active listener - he listens to understand not to respond. He is careful in his responses.

To make this short and sweet Dr. Hernandez cares, and that shows in his manner and actions. I feel confident in his knowledge and actions. Far as I'm concerned he went above and beyond and continues to do so.
