Marcus W. Lum, MD

Dr. Marcus Lum began practicing medicine over 20 years ago, working in Los Angeles and Orange County. A Southern California native, he is proud to serve the same communities he trained in and currently resides in. Beginning his education at UCLA, Dr. Lum graduated with a degree in biochemistry. He then attended The Chicago Medical School, where he received his medical degree. His training was completed at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital. He has been a Board Certified Family Physician ever since. Prior to his current practice, Dr. Lum served as the Vice Chairman for the Department of Family Practice at Friendly Hills Medical Group. When not at work, Dr. Lum enjoys spending time with his wife and children, taking road trips and vacations. He also likes to learn about home improvement projects (Do it yourself).
Philosophy of Care: Utilize proven scientific evidence based medicine to help patient's maintain and optimize their health. Effective diagnostic testing that helps minimize patient's cost and yet still provide effective and efficient care. Help patients overcome their barriers to reach their goals in becoming mentally and physically well.
