Luminita is an exceptional health care provider. She spends time listening to my concerns and often follows up with pertinent information on My Chart.

Upon initial appointment request there was a very long wait, 4 months, however, I was put on a wait list and was able to get in within 6 weeks.

I've always seen Luminita and she has always been thorough and very helpful. She always takes her time to explain everything to me. However, at this last appt. I felt rushed - maybe she wasrunning behind - I am not sure what the issue was but she was not the same as previous times. I had to be the one to ask her how my lab results/kidneys were and her only response was "They are stable" as she was walking out of the room I asked her a few additional questions and she did answer them but it just wasn't like many previous times. I must say that one of the positive things she did was double check my Ozempic and she helped me with how much I should use once a week - so thank you Luminita for that!

Luminita seemed unprepared for my appointment considering the first couple questions she asked me. She was confused when I had to correct her on meds I'm taking, & request for refill on another drug. She seemed knowledgeable once she was up to speed on my personal medical information and had several new ideas for me to try. I am still having trouble with her concerning my meds received by mail since handling the mailing one box of Injectables at a time is Inconvenient and very costly through mail-order. 3 month supply has been the norm until Luminita changed it. I'll have to call again, and try to correct this problem. I found her personally a very pleasant person.

Luminta Mann is a NP. That said she is as good as any Internist or Endocrinologist I have seen. She is thorough, takes time to explain clearly, asks questions and actually listens to answers, then addresses those answers if needed. I am always happy when I request an appointment to see one of my doctors, and they are ALWAYS booking 6 months out; and I am asked if I would like to see the NP Luminta Mann. I have lost 4 Endocrinologist with St. Jude (they left for a variety of reasons). Two were good, 1 was fine and the last St. Jude was lucky he left. I am currently a Type 2 Diabetic of some 25+ years without an Endocrinologist. I have other health issues including breast cancer and arthritis. I need a doctor who cares about me and my overall health, Luminta Mann is not a doctor but she definitely cares about her patients and their overall health.

Luminita is amazing. In our visit with Luminita, it was the first time I felt heard. She listened intently and her compassion, wisdom, and follow thru were phenomenal. She did not discount my symptoms, but validated them. She never once said "you shouldn't have that symptom with para-thyroid tumors", as we were told in the past. She agreed and said my symptoms are very much from the parathyroid and I will feel much better than before, after it's removal. She told me that my symptoms were all part of the parathyroid and what I was experiencing was normal for my condition. (again, opposite than what we heard our first visit). She was an angel that we needed to see and hear from that very day. I thank God for NP's like Luminita. We will continue our care with her, over and over. She is better than any doctor we've seen so far for this.
