Dr mchenry was my doctor at Open Door and he made me feel so comfortable that I followed him to Providence. He's great.

This was the first visit with my new provider. He spent time explaining things and reviewing my health history.

Dr. McHenry is an excellent Physician- one of the best I've ever had. I came to this practice JUST to be able to continue working with him- and accessing his amazing Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment skills. I'm SO glad Providence recognized his excellent skills and have supported him in his OMT work!

I always feel better after a treatment

Dr. McHenry continues to be the "Poster Child" for an Excellent Physician! He is always kind and considerate, and goes beyond what most doctors do to help me! On one hand, he took the time to straighten out a medication refill struggle I was having, which made my Next refill a breeze! Most importantly, it is clear to me that he puts a lot of thought into my OMT treatment, constantly trying new things to try to make the biggest change in my condition. It can't be easy to treat a deteriorating condition, but he has never given up on me, and his depth of knowledge about OMM and his willingness to "think outside the box," has made all the difference to me!

Dr. McHenry is a replacement PCP for my prior doctor Dr. Heston. Both Dr. McHenry and Dr. Heston are at the top of my list as far as the quality of care I've received over my life. I would recommend either of them without hesitation. The only negative I have has to do with Humboldt county, not the doctors. Physicians here are way over booked. I have managed to get timely care when needed, but the understaffing is concerning.

I met Dr. Ryan McHenry at Open Door so I did a search to find out that he went to you at Providence. Providence receptionist willing brought me aboard as a patient for Dr. McHenry. The staff was so much more professional and pleasant than O.D., and I'm convinced that you brought on a fabulous doctor when brought him aboard. I'm new to Dr. McHenry (previously with Beth Abels). I am very pleased with him thus far. I am concerned with the Providence system however. I have to wait until the end of January to get an "echo" cardiogram.

This was my initial get-to-know-you visit with Dr. McHenry after being on the primary care new patient waiting list for well over a year. He was friendly, kind, & made me feel welcomed. I'm comfortable with this ability to handle my various medical issues & hope to be his patient for many healthy years. Front & back office staff were great. The reason for a couple of middling answers on your survey is in regard to the length of time on that waiting list. However, appreciating the challenges of attracting & retaining quality medical staff, I knew patience would eventually be rewarded.

This was the first time seeing Dr. McHenry. We were very happy with how we were treated. Our last doctor was just the opposite. Changing doctors was our best decision.

Dr. McHenry is the best! When I was critically ill in the hospital this last January, he was doing his rotation and checked on me almost every day 2x. He and his team literally saved my life. He has made sure I continually make good progress. I couldn't be happier having Dr. McHenry as my PCP; I'm grateful for his attention and guidance throughout my recovery and general health.

This visit was to establish care with a new provider within the same organization.So so doctor mchenry did not know me at all. He was late coming into the office. This frustrated me.I was the first appointment of the day, He seems quite competent, appears to be a good listener with concern for me.

I had been trying to get to a Providence provider for over two years now, and this was the first visit. The survey questions did not consistently reflect this reality - 'negative' responses were really more about the long period of time waiting to connect with Providence and/or my experiences with my prior provider.

He was kind and thorough. He put my son at ease and tried his best to not embarrass him. I was very grateful for his compassion and kindness as well as his knowledge.
