This provider looked at the list of medications that I have taken in the past and couldn't understand why I took them for so long. He went back and forth on deciding what to prescribe. He asked me if I was allergic to sulfa drugs, I said I didn't know or not to my knowledge. When I filled the prescrption the pharmacist stopped me to warn me of a bad interaction between that drug and my existing medicine. Lisinophil and sulfa drugs interact. I stopped taking the Lisinophil while taking this drug. I took my last pill this morning but it doesn't feel like my condition has improved. I will likely come back for retesting. I would have preferred to take the drugs I have taken in the past without risk of reaction.

I was originally offered a PA; the nature of my illness required a doctor.

Very professional and easy to communicate

Dr Bachoura answered all my questions about current recommendations for isolation and symptom management after testing positive for COVID, as well as possible need for Paxlovid (not needed).

This was my first visit with this doctor for a medical clearance for eye surgery. He was friendly, kind, thorough in his exam. He took his time and made me feel at ease. He was caring and respectful. It was a very positive and encouraging visit.

Mr.Patrick Bachoura is very easy to talk with and gives me very good advice about medications. For example, I ask for the generic medication Ambient and he warned me about taking this medicine too frequently and over a long period of time. I appreciate this kind of warning.

Doctor is very attentive to my health concerns and questions

I have seen many doctors in the past. Most doctors are good listeners but I do not feel that he listens well. I took the recommendation from Providence showing I am at high risk for heart risk having both diabetes and high blood pressure, he mentioned to me that I do not need to see. Cardiologist because I did not have chest pain. I don't understand why he is so restrictive. I am wondering if I should swit to a different Internal Medicine. Prior to Providence we have our blood and urine tests quarterly since we are on so many medications. Without checking our blood and urine how can one be sure of if the liver, kidney and other functions are in order. Why is it that he is so restrictive. Many of our relatives are experiencing similar issues. Some even go see other doctors who would run these tests. We are over 70 and we need to get good care.
