I sent a chat to Dr Galdamez on a Sunday, letting him know of my suspicion that I had an infection and was pleasantly surprised to get a response that very same day from the staff there, along with an opening of an appt the very next day. I was so glad to have gotten it taken care of so quickly.

I was frustrated that the doctor would not refer me to a rheumatologist for my arthritic condition but instead to an orthopedic surgeon. Further, he did not address my need for a prescription update for my CPAP machine (to be honest, although I had specified that to the PA before doctor came in, I was distracted due to the rest of the conversation). I called several times later in the week, and it took about a week to get it resolved and my CPAP Rx completed. I do feel that sometimes the patient is given short schrift, for example I waited in a previous appointment for 15 minutes while the office staff had their weekly praise time for "worker of the week" awards. That said, I do feel that there is good quality care being provided.

I was in a very serious accident and this particular appointment was a follow-up after a trip to the ER. All of the test that were done in the ER were explained as well as the next steps that need to be taken. Dr. Galdamez was very precise and made sure I understood what next steps I need to take and how quickly I need to complete those steps - it is very much appreciated.

Dr. Galdamez requested some Dr. Visits for me also bloodwork and an MRI. I just received a notice from a Dr. Rozalie Jackson MD that said it is not medically necessary to have this MRI performed in a hospital setting. They also said to call [ID] at [Phone #] to have the MRI changed to a location that can be approved. That is fine by me.
