I had a wonderful experience with the provider. She was very helpful and thorough during my examination. She answered all questions I had and was a pleasure to interact with. She is my son's pediatrician and his mother's doctor as well.

Dr Gutierrez seems open to my questions and spends time with me. It would help me if she could "celebrate successes" with me in my health journey. I've been making a lot of changes (in diet, meds, exercise) and am seeing results, but I often feel like I'm not doing enough and feel badly when I leave instead of encouraged.Not related to Dr. Gutierrez completely, but related to my care and MyChart: It is a challenge when MyChart suggests tests that aren't needed. Also, receiving feedback can be impersonal/scary. And frustrating when not clear.

Dr Gutierrez was very familiar with my chart and my history and she was she listened very carefully and I was able to be referred to specialist that I had never been referred to before and it was necessary so I'm very grateful to have a great doctor my old doctor semi retired. Dr. Debra Gutierrez is beyond an excellent, knowledgeable and caring doctor. I have referred her to to one of my best friends who is now a patient and we both think she is beyond excellent. She has even contacted me during a holiday weekend to check on me, right before I went in for surgery with Dr. Khajavi, which I feel was above and beyond typical care by a doctor. She has given me excellent referrals to specialists, and she always checks with me to see how they went. She is so on top of all the small details of my care and it's so appreciated. She has guided me on a great path of better health, and it is because of her knowledge and guidance that I have lost over [ID] lbs and now have normalized blood pressure and very low A1C ([ID] from a high of [ID] several years ago). I haven't felt this well since I was 25 years younger. She has encouraged and educated me so that I've gone from being a very unhealthy and very overweight couch potato to walking 30 miles a week and lifting weights 3-4 times per week. Along with her superb knowledge and professionalism, she is also compassionate and empathetic. She is hands down the best doctor I've ever had!

I've been seeing Dr. Gutierrez for about 10 years. In the beginning I liked her a lot. She was warm and friendly and was very responsive to my concerns. I even referred a coworker to her. Thus, I'm sorry to say this but in the last few years or so, something has changed with her. I thought perhaps that she just had some off days, but I've noticed a pattern that she Is rushed during my visits and doesn't listen carefully to my concerns. I've sensed that she is bothered or offended if I ask questions. I had hoped she would know me better after 10 years and know that I'm not trying to challenge her when I ask questions but that I am truly just trying to understand more about my health conditions and what I can do to keep them from getting worse. I don't want to change to a new primary care physician but am considering doing so.

Dr Gutierrez is normally on time, if late, she apologizes. She is the best doctor I have ever had in my adult years. She is the most pleasant person I have ever met. This was supposed to be my annual wellness check but the clerks that logged the appointment did not indicate so. I waited two months for this appointment and even fasted for the appointment. Dr. Gutierrez is a great provider but the admin staff, not so much. I even sent message asking to do my lab work about 10 days before my wellness appointment but the admin staff though, acknowledging it is for wellness check, replied that I have to be seen by the provider first. The reply did not indicate that it is not for wellness check. Otherwise, insurance may not pay. Nevertheless, the wellness check did not happen since that takes more time to do. I was rescheduled with another provider for July [Date] since Dr. Gutierrez' earliest availability for wellness check is in October 2024. Very disappointed to have this disconnect. Wasted my time and that of Dr. Gutierrez. Again, Dr. Gutierrez is a great and knowledgeable provider. I will continue to have her as my primary care physician.

I realize how overwhelmed our doctors can be. Usually I feel well taken care of but often I have to do the inquiries regarding test results or ask a follow up question. I do appreciate how quickly I receive the test results in my portal.I have a good rapport with my doctor and I believe she sincerely cares for my well being.

I really am happy with my provider every time I see or talk with her. I have no desire to change anything. But something was missing during my last visit - I got the feeling she & the trainee with her felt I was just exaggerating the sciatic/arthritic/vegetative disc pain in my leg. My leg hurt so bad I could barely walk. But they, understandably, wanted x-rays, physical therapy, blood test, nerve conduction test, see an orthopedist, etc. All of which would delay any immediate relief. I'm on Warfarin so Tylenol, aspirin, ibuprofen use is not advised. I am & have been using ice & heat, doing nerve stretching exercises, etc. Doctors P.A. That I saw 2 wks prior prescribed a mild muscle relaxer for 7 days but they would not refill it even one time. It was just beginning to help. I know I'm old & overweight and have done everything to lose it. The doctor kept saying "losing weight would help". . I do know that . . .but the pain & leg weakness prevented any type of meaningful exercise . .& also kept me awake, or would wake me, many times during the night. I appreciate the time they spent with me . .maybe they were just running behind but I was disappointed there was nothing done to at least take the edge off the pain. I'm not a cranky person, normally. I was just expecting pain relief immediately.

Dr. Gutierrez is usually very thorough. I felt she was being rushed with this visit. I do like her and feel she has my best interests at heart. The one thing that did not happen was that I scheduled a physical and staff did not send me to get my blood work prior to my appointment. I thought this was a usual practice.

Dr Gutierrez is hands down the best doctor I've ever had. She is so easy to talk to and I feel so comfortable talking to her about any of my medical needs.
