Dr Hakala was my favorite provider in Anchorage. She is very personable, knowledgeable and respectful. She listens to my needs and always had a solution. Unfortunately I left state and now have to find a new Dr. She will be missed for sure!

She always remembers details about her patients (I've taken three other patients to see her besides myself) Aside from her medical expertise, she also is able to meet each patient exactly where they are in terms of their medical and emotional needs. I have recommended Isabel to several other people besides these three. Aside from the in-person experience, Isabel is on top of all communications through My Chart--any lab or prescription needs. Isabel provides excellent service to her patients and Providence is fortunate to have her.

PA Hakala is always cheerful, open, and willing to listen to what I have to say about my health issues. She is honest with me about my healthcare needs, talks with me openly about my healthcare needs and when her training and/or experience in an area are not sufficient she tells me and is very willing to make appointments with specialists who can work with me in those areas. I find her to be open, honest, and concerned about my health.

My doctor is really great. She listen to all my concerns. She takes the time to explain things she doesn't rush. She's great when I need questions. I send a messages in my chart and I get the answers I need and she has a great team very respectful

This is a great office, and I love my provider! It does seem like it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get an appointment, but I understand that she is extremely busy.

Isabel Hakala is a gem and outstanding in her practice.. She listens. She provides information that reflects her knowledge and readily admits when she needs to research something further. She is thorough and remembers off the top of her head incidents about her patients health and concerns.. She Is caring and tactful. She does not discount her patient's statements. It Is evident she gives thoughtful consideration for referrals. Organized is another term that describes her. She recognizes that with the plethora of health conditions I have, when more time is needed, and/or an additional appointment is necessary.
