I was disappointed that I couldn't see my regular primary care doctor but very appreciative of Dr Wheeler taking the time to address my concerns and he would be my second choice for ongoing care. I felt that he listened intently to me and was concerned enough to refer me for an MRI right away.

I am heartbroken. Last week I learned that Dr. Wheeler is leaving this practice. He has been my GP for about 5 yrs. He is excellent. I trust him implicitly. While I think this is a great move from Dr. Wheeler, as he will be training residents, and he will be exceptional. I'm really quite sad. He has recommended a doctor that he has confidence in, and made sure I have an appt with the new doctor in a couple of months. And I am relieved Dr. Wheeler gives a great reference for this doctor. That being said, Dr Wheeler is stellar, and I am truly sad to see him go. I wish him all the best.

Dr. Wheeler is an excellent doctor, very easy to relate to and understand, shows genuine caring for you and your questions.

In all my 88 years U have seen many many providors for various reasons throughout the years. Dr. Wheeler is by far the very best, kindenst and most considerate and informative provider that I have ever had.

Wheeler is great, blood test results are usually confusing at best, takes months to get appointments scheduled MONTHS for chest pain symptoms MONTHS!!!!!

My PCP is the best clinician I've ever had. The only obstacles to appropriate care are time and capacity limitations of available appointments, length of appointments being ridiculously too short to address medical issues fully, and communication with care team if needed between appointments.

Dr.Wheeler is the greatest. He is kind, respectful and always takes his time. I will miss him dearly. He's been a great pcp for my family.

He offered to communicate with me through the app since I will be traveling and wanted to make sure we could easily stay in touch through the treatment plan. My care provider was extremely knowledgeable about my past health history and was able to answer questions about new concerns, provide guidance for managing them, and put us on schedule to review progress in a few months.

I was pleasantly surprised to obtain an appointment with one of tour best doctors!However, the nurses recommendation of using an ipad translator was not necessary since I have spoken English for over 50 years, and my communication problem is with only Technical Terms and Hearing due to Tinutis mainly in my right ear.

Originally Dr Wheeler didn't have any openings on short notice. I was scheduled to see a PA or other qualified persons to address my issue. A few days prior to the appointment the office called me to see if I wanted to see Dr Wheeler about 30 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment. Of course I opted to see Dr Wheeler because he is my PCP and knows my history. I'm very happy with the care that he gives me.

Dr Wheeler is very kind and was engaged in all the issues of my health care. He brought up all my concerns on my check list, before I even got to them. He Listened well and responded to my concerns. I left there feeling valued and my health well cared for.

Very easy to talk to

This was my first visit with Dr. Wheeler. I have high blood pressure. I especially appreciated his attention to detail reviewing my condition, options for managing it, and the different medications available. His clear and frank discussion really helped me understand my condition and what my part would be in controlling my BP.

It took me many years to find such a good Doctor that I feel comfortable with and shows such compassion and care.

It was my first visit with Dr Wheeler and I felt that he was very through and answered my concerns. I'm looking forward to having him take care of my medical issues.

Dr Wheeler is great! I needed a new PCP after my heart attack in 2018 and I ended up with Dr Wheeler simply because he was accepting new patients at the time. I had no referral. I feel very fortunate to have Dr Wheeler as my PCP. He does not dictate to me and our relationship feels more like a partnership which is exactly what I want from my healthcare providers. He treats me with dignity and respect and always listens to my concerns. At age 67 I have a complex health history and Dr Wheeler stays informed and communicates with all the specialists on my team. He responds with alacrity when I contact him via email and even calls me if he thinks it is warranted. While recovering in the hospital from my hernia surgery in 2023 one of the surgeons asked me if Dr Wheeler was my PCP. I thought the surgeon was a friend of Dr Wheeler. It turns out he had never met Dr Wheeler but knew of him by reputation and informed me that Dr Wheeler had an excellent reputation among his colleagues. I wasn't surprised to hear this and, like I said earlier, I feel very lucky to have him as my Primary Care Physician.

Dr. Wheeler must check files before the visit as he is very prepared when he enters the room. He listens, he shows concern when new problems arise, and he finds solutions to any new problems, as well as keeping close eye on prior existing problems. He is one in a million doctors, and I feel myself very fortunate to have him as my doctor.

I've never had a bad experience with Dr. Wheeler. My biggest complaint is that he's so busy he's booked out at least three months. He's always personable and knowledgeable. He has a good bedside manner, and he explains things well.
