Kathryn R. Rompala, MD

Kathryn Rompala, MD, loves connecting with people of all ages. This drive to support patients at all stages of life led her to choose a career in family medicine. “Every patient’s journey is different, and helping patients and their families make their way is so rewarding,” she shares. “I couldn’t imagine specializing in anything else.”

In her practice, Dr. Rompala emphasizes prevention and what she calls “lifestyle optimization”— supporting and guiding each patient as they move forward to embrace life challenges. “My goal is to meet my patients where they are and encourage them in their health journeys,” she says.

Dr. Rompala earned her undergraduate degree in romance languages from Washington University in St. Louis and completed her medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University. She went on to complete her residency training at Family Medicine of Southwest Washington.

“I've lived all over the United States, but I love the Pacific Northwest,” Dr. Rompala shares. When not at work, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking and climbing. She is also an avid reader and traveler, and especially loves spending time with her family. In addition to English, Dr. Rompala speaks French.
