About Mihaela Cosma

Dr. Mihaela Cosma is a Mayo Clinic trained endocrinology specialist with more than 15 years of experience. She completed her Internal Medicine residency in Abington, PA, Abington Memorial Hospital and her fellowship in Endocrinology at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, with research focus in pituitary, adrenal gonadal physiology. Dr. Cosma is double certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes. Dr. Cosma has an active certification in clinical bone densitometry and is also a certified radioactive iodine user, treating patients with thyroid cancer. In her practice, she offers well-rounded expertise in general endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. Dr. Cosma was previously in practice at Walla Walla Clinic and Rockwood Clinic and on staff at Providence Mount Carmel Hospital, Providence St Joseph Hospital, Providence St Mary Medical Center and Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. Dr. Cosma in an active member of Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and Mayo Clinic Alumni Association. Dr. Cosma joined Providence Medical Group in 2016 and she moved her practice from Colville to Spokane in March 2018. She is currently accepting new endocrine and diabetes patients by referral only.
