About Dana L. Baumgartner
Dana Baumgartner, MSN, FNP-C, BC-ADM, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with advanced training in diabetes management. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in 2014. After graduation, she worked for Franciscan Endocrine Associates in Tacoma. Dana believes in active listening to the patient’s story with a sense of compassion and honesty while working together to achieve a realistic therapeutic goal. Special interests: diabetes management including insulin pump therapy, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis.

I have nothing bad and only positive things to say about my experiences with the care providers at Providence. My concern is that Providence endocrinology is not renewing Dana Baumgartner's contract. She is one of the best medical professionals I have seen and it's a shame that she will no longer be a part of the providence endocrinology practice.
