Dr. Akmal appeared extremely competent; was well prepared for the visit; laid out a perfectly logical plan for addressing my PTH problem; and followed up with a message in MyChart once the labs were reported. Doctor and her nurse are wonderful!They answered all my questions and set up future the bone density x-rays and bone infusion appointment.

Great Doctor.

I was scheduled for a biopsy on my thyroid. All four biopsies were benign, she was very thorough and caring. I go back in one year for a follow up. She and her nurse were very wonderful during the procedure.

I am very happy with my care at Providence. Dr Akmal was kind, and compassionate. She performed a biopsy quickly, without pain and carefully explained each step. All the staff was friendly, interested in what I had to say and listened carefully. I believe the people at Providence helped me be a strong cancer survivor and I am here today because of them.

I like how Dr. Akmal spoke very clearly, listened to what I had to say, and came up with a gameplan for finding the cause of and fixing these medical issues. I never at any point felt rushed at all.

All my experiences have been very good for a number of years. We are thoroughly happy with Providence staff and treatment.

I live almost 2 hours from this care provider. On my way to the office visit, I was delayed due to a horrible car accident. Once I got to Interstate 5, traffic was a nightmare. I was 25 minutes late for my appointment. I called when I knew I was going to be late. I was offered a phone visit or may need to reschedule. I still came for the office visit and was pleased my provider still saw me. Everyone was more than courteous. Thank you to receptionist, nurse and doctor!

It has taken me about two years to find a good doctor to replace the excellent doctor who previously took care of my diabetes needs, but I am confident that this is the best.

Although the visits are quick, I am comfortable with Dr. Akmal and the staff. Nurses are nice and helpful.

I'm very pleased with the care I receive.

Care is a hit or miss at Providence Lacey Family Medicine depending on who you see for your care. A previous recently retired MD always rushed the appointment and disregarded concerns, though now I realize it was probably because they were retiring. Most doctors are pretty straightforward and respond quickly to lab results currently. I try to give more than one go if I have a bad experience at a facility. I did however recently have a better experience with my new provider.

The people at this facility are always courteous and helpful and listen to and answer my questions clearly and concisely and are always very encouraging about my attempts to manage my illness well

My provider Akma is a wonderful Dr. Have her for many yrs now. She's the kind of Dr. Everyone should have, kind, knowledgeable, gives details, answers questions and listens carefully. Most of all too, I didn't feel rushed or on a time clock for this visit as In some offices. She's a great Dr.

I like that Dr.Akmal recommends virtual visits as an option to follow-up office visits. This is a time saver for everyone.

She knows me from the past and she remembers how I was then and knows I can take of myself better not perfect that's what I'm striving for it's hard when I used to low blood sugar everyday and screwed up my brain I won't remember me doing this tomorrow unless I write it down in my blood checker book they I believe they are very good at what they do
