This was my initial appointment with this new provider after the retirement of the physician I had seen for many years. He was very aware of my records, answered all my questions and made me feel listened to.

The endocrinologist I had been working with since 2004 (whom I adored) retired, and this was my first time meeting Dr. Buzzola. Since my thyroid hormone levels affect the speed of everything in my body, I have found it imperative to keep them in a good place. I have had other primary doctors tell me my TSH levels had just entered the high/normal realm, so I should be fine, and they didn't want to fine-tune my medication any further for a year. I was ecstatic that Dr. Buzzola did not follow that method and had my TSH checked right before seeing me - because my TSH had jumped up far outside of the normal levels in just a few months. He adjusted my medication accordingly and is going to check the effects in a couple of months. I am so thankful he took my condition seriously and adjusted the medication rather than letting me be miserable for a year. I have children, run a business, and am caring for my just widowed mother. I can't be struggling to function for a year. (Thank you!)

This was my first visit with Dr.Buzzola. He is my new Endocrinologist because my previous one (In the same clinic retired). I was very happy with Dr. Buzzola. I have many health issues and I need a provider that really listens to me and knows the critical care that I need. Dr. Buzzola really tool the time with me and addressed my health issues (past and present). I would recommend him to anyone. I was extremely pleased and look forward to seeing him in six months.
