I see Laura Cosenza about my Type 1 diabetes every 3 months. We go over the blood tests and how the results affect the medications I take. At our last meeting I was concerned about my weight loss after suffering from pneumonia. She had some suggestions and referred me to a dietician. I have always found Laura listens to me and understands my concerns.

I realize that doctors have different types ways to conduct an " in person " physical exam , although I just figured some of the practices she would adapt too!

Dr was such a good listener and educator on my meds and abilities to administer meds. I have problems remembering some meds and usually the other doctors ignore that and keep upping the dosage or prescribing another Med. She said to work on my compliance and to refrigerate my insulin to increase efficacy. Brilliant!

She listened carefully to me and did not seem to want to rush me during the visit.

Bad follow up on prescriptions from interviews and she is forgetful on leaving patients interview for presence material and says she gave it to staff at desk which she did not.

Laura is by far the BEST Endocrinologist I have ever seen. Actually she is the best provider I have seen since being with Providence. Worth the 1.5 hour drive from [Location]. She is amazing!!!

She was easy to talk to, explained everything in detail, gave me handouts and offered a virtual follow up which is great since it's a 2 hour drive from my home.

Laura was great. Very thorough and knowledgeable about my health condition and the struggles. Much more productive visit than with my primary care physician. She didn't seem to be in a hurry to write a new prescription and send me on my way. This is the first time in years where I actually spent less time waiting to be seen than waiting for the doctor. My only complaint is that it takes a long time to get in to see her for an appointment.

I was surprised that she actually had read my previous medical records and referred to them several times during my visit. I did not feel rushed and she made me feel very comfortable and happy that I was able to have her as my Endocrinology specialist.

I have had Type 1 diabetes for over 50 years. This was my first visit with Ms. Cosenza. She had carefully looked at my records and blood tests and we made a couple of changes in my carb ratios as I was tending to go high after lunch. As a retired teacher I felt very comfortable with her making me do the changes so she knew that I knew how to do It on my insulin pump. My only disappointment is that I have not received these data from her on My Chart so I could record them on my personal medical log. I look forward to seeing her in 3 months with new blood test values.

This was the first visit with the Dr. For me. She seemed knowledgeable and attentive. Very knowledgeable about medications I'm on. Also very friendly and has a pleasant personality.
