I love my doctor

It was my first visit with Dr Rettinger. I found her to be very kind compassionate intelligent and really shows that she cares about me. She is exactly the way every doctor should be I'm very grateful to meet her and I hope that she will be my endocrinologist.

Dr. Rettinger approaches me with with respect and warmth, and always wants to know the details of my personal experienceWith a health issue or medicine.Most importantly : she does NOT have any AGE - DISCRIMINATORY attitude, Interpretation , suggestions, statements or questions for me......... which is rampant among other doctors right now, and deeply insulting to me !

Dr. Rettinger is really good and has a wonderful bedside manner. She seems to care about the whole patient and not just the issue that you are being seen for. The one and only complaint, is because she is so good with patients, it is often hard to get an appointment with her AND the wait time to see her is often long.

Dr. Rettinger is one of those special doctors who exceeds expectations. She is warm, caring, and knowledgable. I feel extremely lucky to be her patient.

Dr Rettinger is very easy to work with. Together we are mapping my diabetes care.

Suggestion. The doctor was very thorough and informative and helpful. However the sheer amount of information was too much to retain even a couple hours after the appointment. It would be very useful to receive an after visit summary. With next steps and an actual summary of what was discussed. Right now my after visit summary on "My Chart" has zero useful information .

Best Doctor care for my health disease

The doctor is exceptional. Listens very well and asks probing questions related to the disease and medication. Her skill has helped me enormously. My disease was quite serious when I first saw her; I was quite sick and substancially incapasitated. She reviewed the records thoroughly and found problems in previous testing that other doctors had either not recognized or ignored. She ordered highly specialized tests and prescribe medication that she frequently updated based on my progress with the treatment. Presently my disease is stable because she monitors me closely. I am grateful to have found highly qualified doctors at SJPP who have developed plans of care for me that have effective. Dr Rettinger is one of the best.

Excellent provider, caring and informative. I don't normally get a call back from the office about bloodwork because we usually cover it in my next visit. Grateful for Dr Rettinger as she responds to my MyChart questions in a timely manner too.

Dr.Rettinger is the best provider I have on my team. I was a patient of hers at her last practice, and have followed her because she is absolutely the best provider I have ever had. She takes the time to listen, understand and has empathy for her patients. She takes time to listen to my questions, albeit sometimes repetitive. My health is better because of her.

Knowledgeable, personable and caring physician. Wait time for virtual appointment is sometimes a little long...15 minutes check-in prior to appointment and usually 20 minutes after virtual check-in; otherwise, a good experience!
