About Steven E. Saltman
For me, the beauty of being a physician is being able to truly make a difference in the lives of my patients. Actively participating in the community where I live and work, both as an individual and as a physician, is important to me, and rewarding. There’s a lot of joy in developing a long-term relationship with my patients and seeing them achieve and maintain good health.
During a Fellowship with the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, I served as Public Health Service Officer. Currently, I am the Chief of Staff/Site Director for the subspecialty offices of the St. Jude Heritage Medical Group.

Just recently he saved my life when another doctor didn't get back to me with my lab results, I called Dr Saltman's office and he read my results and instructed me to go to the ER, which helped to save my life! He is a very caring and patient doctor that take time to explain everything regarding my health. As for the bloodwork results, it is usually done 1 week prior to appointment and the results are discussed during the appointment. Therefore, no calls are made to discuss bloodwork results until appointment.
