This was a routine appointment scheduled six months ago. The one hour wait for an appointment that was supposed to start during the 9o'clock hour was somewhat annoying but things happen. I did obtain the prescriptions I needed and orders for the next set of labs. I did not get any specific answers to the few questions I had. Yes, the answers were very easy to understand but very generic ( the kind I can find on the internet). I can understand some situations may not have a precise explanation but an inteligent, informed discussion of possible causes and ways to improve the situation would help.I do not blame the doctor for this as much as I blame the system that pushes doctors to see more and more patients in one day. That can only be done by cutting corners such as documenting while listening and answering questions, barely making eye contact letc. I have notticed that with more than one provider.

I do not feel that I received enough information to satisfy my questions and concerns. I would like to be more proactive with my health; however, I am not getting the help that I need from my specialized providers.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gilbert for many years. The office is now running very smoothly and efficiently compared to when I first started seeing him.. I only see him every six months for follow up treatment. My next appointment is made before I leave the office. He always reviews my medications, and gives me referrals if necessary.

I have wonderful providers, that have and are taking excellent care of my illnesses and conditions. From my PCP ordering X-rays to MRIs to medication referrals to specialist. My cardiologist PA has got my BP under control and I am feeling better. Along with test they have ordered to see if there was something else going on .My endocrinologist is getting my thyroid and hosimotos under control with regular testing of labs and increasing of amount of thyroxine he prescribes. To get the thyroid under control to make me feel better and the symptoms be deleted . I love my Drs and Providence St Jude's

Dr Gilbert has always been one of my favorite dr's , how ever' during this visit he seemed in a hurry and distracted. When I tried to discuss my recent gall bladder surgery I noticed he was reading someone else's chart on his computer. When I asked what he was doing he said he was working. I was so disappointed to find he wasn't even listening to me.
