About Puneet Dhillon
Dr. Puneet Dhillon is a fellowship trained endocrinologist. Dr. Dhillon completed her residency in Internal Medicine from Abington Jefferson Health in Pennsylvania which culminated in a board certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Thereafter, Dr. Dhillon pursued a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the State University of New York at Buffalo. During her fellowship, she worked with a nationally known team developing newer therapies for type 1 diabetes. Dr. Dhillon is committed towards a patient centric approach to treatment by fostering an honest and caring partnership with her patients.

Having previously visited my provider In the office and only needing a conversation about recent treatment, a teleconference was very effective for the followup. Not having to drive, find parking and sitting in a waiting room was much better for this type of visit. My doctor was very prepared and had all the current information on my health issues and treatment.

She was patient, allowing me to share concerns about my health and my medications. I appreciate all the time that she spent with me.I am somewhat frustrated that it took me 4 months to see her after my referral and I am very frustrated that she asked me to come back in 2 months to check on newly prescribed medications and health care practices and the first available appointment that I could get is 6 months out!

She is good when you have a specific reason you are going to her. However, for me, I have no diagnosis yet and we dont seem to be any closer to getting one. This may not be her fault, as I might just be a medical mystery, but I do wish there were more suggestions for other possible diagnoses to seek or specialists to see or anything to point me in the right direction. She is very caring though and I know she would help me if she could.

Dr. Dillon was very personable. She respected my medical questions. She noticed that one of my thyroid tests was very low and changed the medication slightly. It made sense to me, because some of my symptoms may be caused because of the low thyroid test.
