About Magdalena Garbacz
I completed my undergraduate degree in nursing at Holy Family University in Philadelphia, PA and received my graduate degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. I have been a nurse practitioner since 2018 and most of my experience has been in the field of endocrinology. In my clinical practice, I see patients with diabetes, hypoglycemia, and other disorders of fuel metabolism. My objective is to evaluate your endocrine condition within the context of your overall health and personal goals. We will work together on achieving your health goals through lifestyle modifications, use of technology, and medical therapies. My hope is that you will leave my office with new knowledge regarding your condition, purpose, and clear action plan. I am also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with particular interest in use of technology to promote diabetes self-care behaviors. In the past, I collaborated with Quality Improvement leads to increase outreach of diabetes technology such as CGMs and insulin pumps to underrepresented populations.
