Richard C. Manthey, MD

Richard Manthey, MD, encourages his patients to take personal responsibility for their health and be actively involved in their care. "I think the patient and family should have lots of impact on how decisions are made," he says.

In his practice, Dr. Manthey emphasizes prevention and lifestyle change. He believes in helping patients to set realistic goals for their health and achieve those goals. Dr. Manthey received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. He also completed a residency in emergency medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Florida.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Dr. Manthey enjoys playing tennis and cycling in his free time.
