About James D. Thompson
Dr. Thompson practiced Emergency Medicine in Colorado for 35 years before moving to California to be closer to his family. Dr. Thompson’s background practicing Emergency Medicine in the hospital setting has led him to embrace his new career as an Urgent Care provider.
Although the medical problems seen in EDs and urgent care centers are similar in many ways, the opportunity to spend quality time with patients discussing their medical concerns and answering their questions has been a welcome change to the endlessly frantic pace of emergency medicine. Dr. Thompson takes pride in delivering truly personalized, empathetic care to each and every patient he sees.
