About Michael Mercado
Michael Mercado, M.D., attended Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., for his undergraduate education. Originally from Hawaii, Dr. Mercado attended medical school in Chicago before relocating to Los Angeles to complete his medical training. Dr. Mercado’s interest in learning about human illnesses and his desire to help people guided him toward a career in medicine. He is board certified in emergency medicine and worked in various emergency departments prior to joining Providence Medical Institute, where he now enjoys caring for patients in urgent care.
