Ryan J. W. Burris, MD

Ryan Burris, MD is a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist and cardiologist at Cardiology Specialists of Orange County (CSOC) practicing in Santa Ana, Irvine, and Newport Beach, California. He has special interests in catheter ablation of SVT, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, and VT as well as in implantation of cardioverter-defibrillators (including subcutaneous systems), permanent pacemakers (including leadless technologies), and CRT insertion. Dr. Burris attended UC San Diego for his undergraduate and graduate degrees and then received his medical degree from UC Irvine where he subsequently completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship. He then completed his advanced fellowship training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Chicago where he focused on complex ablations and device implantation. In addition to his board certifications in both cardiac electrophysiology and cardiology, he is board certified in internal medicine and adult comprehensive echocardiography.
