About Josie Banks
As a registered dietitian, Josie strives to support her patients reach their full potential as they prepare for bariatric surgery. She believes that having a solid foundation in nutrition knowledge can be a powerful tool in managing overall health. In her work at the Providence Center for Weight Management, she loves getting to celebrate patients as they find unique solutions and strategies to support their healthy habits in the pursuit of life-long health.
Josie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition at Oregon State University and completed her Master's degree and dietetic internship at Oregon Health & Science University.
In her spare time, Josie enjoys getting creative in the kitchen, playing outside with her dog, and curling up on the couch with a good book and a cup of tea.
