Carter K. Haag, MD

With a background in adult and pediatric dermatology, including a pediatric dermatology fellowship, Dr. Haag provides care for people of all ages, from newborns to older adults. “I enjoy establishing long-term relationships with patients and their families,” he says, “as we work together to treat their skin conditions, improve their lives and prevent future harms.”

Improving quality of life and relieving suffering were his main motivations for going into medicine. As a board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Haag treats the full spectrum of skin conditions, communicating with his patients to understand their priorities and to establish goals for their care. “Seeing people experience improvements in their skin conditions,” he says, “and the positive impact that can have on their physical, mental and emotional health, is what I enjoy most about being a medical provider.”

A graduate of Oregon State University, Dr. Haag completed his medical degree, residency, and fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Oregon Health & Science University. He completed his internship with Legacy Health.

Born and raised in Oregon, Dr. Haag enjoys watching and playing multiple sports, running, exploring local restaurants, and spending time with his wife and their two children.
