Dr. Pickert is married and has been a practitioner of dermatology since moving to Oregon in 2014. Before landing in Oregon, she obtained her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas, completed dermatology residency at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, and fellowship training in pediatric dermatology at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Pickert is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and board certified in adult and pediatric dermatology. She loves the unique visually stimulating field of dermatology and caring for patients. She has been named as a Top Doctor several times by Portland Monthly.

The only physician I have been able to see at Providence, is Dr. Amanda Pickert. She is by far, the most caring, efficient, and patient doctor I have ever seen. I have been very disappointed that I have been unable to schedule an appointment with a primary care physician, as there is not a primary care physician at Providence accepting new patients, and sadly my current primary physician is retiring at the end of January this year.

The only issues I have with this office is how far out they are booked. When I called to get in for an appt it was a 5-6 month wait.
