About Eitan A. Homa
Dr. Eitan Homa has practiced dermatology since 1995 and co-founded Dermatology Associates with Dr. Jennifer Krasnoff in 1998. Their vision was to create a community dermatology practice with the rigor and high standards of a university teaching hospital. This realization and recognition of his knowledge and skills by his medical colleagues has led him to be selected a repeat Top Doctor awardee as published in San Francisco Magazine and Sonoma Magazine. Dr. Homa’s expertise spans the full spectrum of dermatology. He enjoys diagnosing complex medical dermatological presentations, performing facial reconstruction in conjunction with Mohs surgery and enjoys the artistry of cosmetic injectables and lasers. Dr. Homa is board-certified by The American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Passionate about providing excellent clinical care, Dr. Homa places a high priority on patient’s needs and concerns and considers patient education and well being a crucial part of his practice. Dr. Homa’s commitment to the field of dermatology includes extensive participation in education and research. He frequently lectures at dermatologic society conferences in the United States and Canada, and is particularly involved with the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Closer to home, he regularly addresses family physicians and internists throughout the Bay Area. As an independent consultant to a number of prominent pharmaceutical companies, Dr. Homa assists with drug development, effective clinical utilization and physician education. He has also been a consultant for the Discovery Channel, participating in a series focusing on Skin Cancer treatment. A native of Canada, Dr. Homa received his medical degree from the University of Calgary. He completed an internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and an internal medicine residency at the University of Toronto. He returned to his native Montreal to train at McGill University’s Department of Dermatology, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Homa’s Canadian roots render him an enthusiastic hockey player and fan – a passion he now shares with his own son. He enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
