About Grace L. Kim

Dr. Grace Kim joined Southern California Eye Consultants in 2022 as a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist and comprehensive ophthalmologist. She grew up on the East Coast and graduated with honors from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. Continuing her education, Dr. Kim earned her master’s degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and then her medical doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in ophthalmology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She further advanced her training by completing a fellowship in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma at the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute of the University of California, Irvine. Since her fellowship, Dr. Kim has been practicing all aspects of comprehensive eye care in the Southern California area. She specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of glaucoma, including open-angle glaucoma, narrow-angle glaucoma, traumatic glaucoma, and glaucoma associated with other eye diseases and underlying medical conditions, using the most up-to-date treatment techniques. She also sees patients for routine eye exams, diabetic screening, cataract screening, and dry eye treatment. Dr. Kim is highly committed to providing quality eye care tailored to each individual patient. She strives to foster a clinical environment where patients can confidently learn about their ocular pathologies and be an active participant in the management of their eye care.
