PHILOSOPHY OF CARE: "One of the great privileges I have is to take care of patients with complicated eye diseases. I chose to be a glaucoma specialist because of my sincere compassion for patients dealing with a potentially devastating chronic disease that rarely has a cure. I long ago learned that people don’t care what you know until they know that you care. As a Glaucoma and Advanced Anterior Segment Surgeon, it is essential to me that you understand your disease and treatment options. We are in this together, and we make decisions together. I am committed to patient education, surgical excellence, advancing research, and clinical innovation. My passion is helping you improve, restore, or save vision to live a meaningful life. My dream is to be able to reverse or cure glaucoma damage." - Igor Bussel, M.D.
