About Esfandiar J. Sabet-Peyman

As a board-certified ophthalmologist and highly trained oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Peyman completed his training at two of the nation’s top eye centers: his residency at USC’s Doheny Eye Institute, followed by a two-year fellowship dedicated exclusively to ophthalmic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery at Duke Eye Center. This unique background and training place him among a very small, select group of surgeons.

By combining the precision and microsurgery of ophthalmology with the reconstructive and aesthetic concepts of plastic surgery, he brings unusual expertise to functional, medical and cosmetic issues of the eyelid, eyebrow, eye socket, and tear system. Published in peer-reviewed journals and a contributor to a surgical textbook, Dr. Peyman provides expert evaluation, management and surgical treatment to children and adults.

Recent community service projects in Ethiopia and Bolivia allowed him to benefit many individuals in each country, performing dozens of surgeries as well as training local physicians on oculoplastic techniques.
