About Travis D. Hull

Dr. Travis D. Hull, MD, PhD is a native of Johnstown, PA and attended Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA where he studied biology and microbial genetics. He attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he was enrolled in the Medical Scientist Training Program, graduating summa cum laude in 2017 with his Medical Degree and a PhD in transplant immunology. During his PhD, Dr. Hull was funded by the American Heart Association to study the role of innate immune cells in heart failure and the chronic rejection of transplanted hearts and kidneys. He and his family then moved to Boston, Massachusetts where Dr. Hull completed General Surgery Residency and Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Hull joined the Northwest Heart and Lung Surgical Associates at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in 2024. His clinical interests include general adult cardiac surgery and the surgical management of heart failure with mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation. Dr. Hull brings with him to Spokane, his wife, Ericka who is a registered nurse, and his five wonderful children. In his spare time, Dr. Hull is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys sharing nature’s bounty with his children through hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, paddling whitewater, and aimlessly exploring the wild and remote areas of his new home in the Inland Northwest.
