Judson R. Mead, PA-C

Judson Mead, PA-C is a nationally certified physician assistant who specializes in cardiothoracic surgery. Judson joined Providence in March 2024. His primary focus is on surgical assisting of cardiothoracic surgical cases and medical management of patients in the hospital and clinic. Judson earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Oregon and his master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Idaho State University. Judson is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and had a seat on its House of Delegates. Prior to joining the team at Providence Heart Institute, he worked in acute care general surgery team at St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho. He has served as a preceptor to physician assistant and medical students, as well as provided lectures to the physician assistant studies program for Idaho State University. In his free time, Judson enjoys the skiing, mountain biking, backpacking and international travel.
