Evelyn Martindale is an excellent cardiac nurse. She always listens to your concerns and tries to work WITH you instead of talking down to you Like most MDs do. Maybe I am jaded as I used to be a nurse, and I know how doc's operate, but she is still a very kind, competent, and professional health care provider.

Evelyn Martindale has a medical doctor's degree although she is a Nurse Practitioner. She is very astute as to medical conditions, treatments and tests so as to inspire confidence in her. She also has a very easy manner about her such that I didn't feel rushed.

She takes the time to really listen to your concerns, and worries. In my experience most health professionals don't listen, and have their minds Made up about your health , and snap to a judgement rather than taking the time to address the client's concerns. It feels like she and I make the treatment of my cardiac problems together, and not some commandment from on high, which you can't question, or debate, which most doctors do.
