About Sandeep K. Sharma
As a cardiac electrophysiologist, I feel that it is a privilege to help a patient by treating their heart rhythm disorder/s that can present as a variety of symptoms- heart racing/ fluttering, fatigue, shortness of breath, fainting or near fainting, etc. It is extremely satisfying to be able to to cure some of the disorders that can cause disabling symptoms and lower quality of life. Advancements in our understanding of heart rhythm disorders have translated into new therapies which is so very exciting for me to keep up with. I utilize these advancements on a daily basis – be it the latest pacemaker and defibrillator device implantations or three dimensional electroanatomic mapping and ablation technology. At an institution like Providence Regional Medical Center that strives for excellence, I hope to deliver outstanding compassionate care to my patients and to make significant contributions to the field of cardiac electrophysiology.

I was very satisfied with the care received and especially the swift follow-up scheduling for the tests, procedure, and follow-up. I saw him Friday & by Monday morning my tests, procedure, & follow-up visit were scheduled. Only 1test left to schedule but I think it may require a prior authorization from my insurance. That is truly outstanding.

This physician stands out for his excellent care, listening, and educating me as a patient regarding my health, options, and recommendations. I wish every doctor did this. It would have helped me to live a healthier life through diet and exercise, and by sitting stationary at my computer for long hours, and by not working 12 hours a day most of my life. I am 65 and paying the price for my past practices. Knowing that many of my life choices has permanently and negatively affected my body, along with the knowledge he provided regarding what changes I can make to reduce the symptoms of my conditions, should enable me to live the rest of my life healthier and in less pain. I greatly appreciate his services.
