Bryan Waits, MD

Dr. Waits graduated Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. He completed Medical School, graduating with honors from Ross University School of Medicine. He then completed 2 years of surgery residency at Texas Tech and SUNY-Stony Brook. Dr. Waits completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at LSU in Shreveport, LA. and his interventional cardiology sub-specialty fellowship at the University of Rochester. Dr. Waits is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular disease, and Interventional Cardiology. He has been published in numerous peer reviewed medical journals and have been in practice for 18 years. Dr. Waits is excited to be back in Lubbock and looks forward to providing excellent cardiovascular care to the people of West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, young children, dogs and traveling. Dr. Waits lives an active and healthy lifestyle and enjoys exercising in the gym and spending time outdoors. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys rooting for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, and Texas Rangers. Other fun facts about Dr. Waits: He is a foodie and wine enthusiast. He lived in Spain for 4 months during college and loves to Travel and see new places.
