Dr. Yao is a great doctor. I always look forward to seeing her.

Dr Yao always listens and is concerned for my health

Dr. Yao took the time to review my chart and summarized what happened in the last 12 months. She ordered the necessary test to determine the efficacy of the new medication. She listened to my concerns about my prior medication. She took the time to answer my questions about the potential adverse side effects on my heart if I undergo hormone treatment for my prostate cancer. She translated the medical terms that I did not understand into layman's language. She has excellent bedside manner. She listened.

It was my first visit with Dr. Yau. I thought she was very knowledgeable, helpful and thorough. She genuinely seemed to really care about me, and wanted to do everything possible for my best health.(much different than my previous cardiologist who seemed so casual)
